Anakin Skywalker Costume

Anakin Skywalker was a supreme Jedi knight who at one time was loyal to the Galactic Republic. In later years he was transformed into Sith Lord Darth Vader. When younger he was born into humble conditions. Later in life he became a Jedi Master and obtained his freedom. He was also father to Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. The Anakin costume depicts his early years when he was part of the Jedi order. This costume shows him during the time when he was the chosen one. He was the one who was supposed to bring balance to The Force.

The Anakin costume comes in many different variations. The Anakin Clone Wars costume comes with a tunic that is accompanied by a grey neck piece, normally with a Velcro piece at the back of the neck for closure. Underneath the tunic are the accompanying pants that have boot covers attached to them. This is finished off by a brown foam belt. One of the main accessories for this costume is the famous lightsaber. Another accessory

for more authenticity is to have the adult Anakin costume boots. The boots have a thick sole for good traction and are comfortable to walk in. The sides of the boots have a zipper for ease of use.

Another Anakin costume, but just as popular comes from his early training days as a Jedi Knight. This costume has a long tunic colored in grey and brown, with long flowing sleeves. The tunic has ties in the back for ease of use. The long brown pants come with foam boot tops and the whole outfit is completed with the foam belt. Again, as above, with this Anakin costume the lightsaber is sold separately.

For children there are a number of Anakin costumes to choose from. The Deluxe Anakin Skywalker Podracer is one of the most popular. This is an officially licensed podracer costume. It is comprised of a tunic jacket with pants to match and has the attached boot tops. It is completed by a fabric hood, a dark beige belt and goggles that are attached to a vinyl hood. The boots have straps that are attached and can be laced up on the legs.

Also available as an add on accessory is a Podracer PVC Mask. It is a 1/2 mask that is made of PVC and has been vacuum formed to give it an extremely realistic look. For an even more realistic look you can add to the Anakin costume, authentic gauntlet gloves. The smooth brown nylon gloves have a leather look to them and are completed by three straps with buckles made of metal. The gloves are completely lined inside.

Another version of the Anakin costume for children is the Deluxe Anakin Skywalker. This costume is similar to the adult one. It has an extra long tunic that is completed by sashes that are attached to the shoulders. The pants are brown and come with boot tops that are attached. There is a waist sash and a 3D belt made of rubber that has Velcro in the back for fastening. The lightsaber must be purchased separately.
